Soriah Buckner (they/them/theirs)

Licensed Massage Therapist & Trauma Touch Therapist

Existence vs living. In a single moment, everything can be taken from you. The script of your life jumps from editor to editor without you having any control. For years I lived in crippling chronic pain and illness. My physical ailments and my trauma were in charge of my life and outcome, not me. I felt hopeless, ashamed, exhausted, and useless. I thought my life would be over before the age of 21, until I was fortunate enough to meet talented therapists who introduced me to cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, and somatic therapies. Through these, I was finally writing the script of my life again.

The healing journey I continue today opened the door for me to help others through the understanding, compassion, and love for the body that I gained. My thirst for knowledge grows the more I learn, and I strive to share that knowledge with my clients because you deserve to experience the joy of understanding your own body. Through my continuing education, I’ve gained even more skills and expertise, driving the desire to serve at my highest possible level.

I am a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent human that has learned by heart how important it is to have your cells, stories, and life witnessed compassionately. I believe all bodies have the right to receive good care regardless of where they are in life. I’ve had the honor to work with a diverse clientele who’ve shared with me their various experiences of pain, illness, trauma, growth, and healing. I learn from every new client, whether they are a fresh-faced child or an elder nearing the end of life.

Here at PRISM, I get the beautiful opportunity to assist you in rewriting your story. I am committed to taking every ounce of knowledge and care I possess to help you form the words and sentences for your next chapter.

Soriah Has:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, creating care plans based on each client’s needs.

PRISM was founded and created by Claire Margit, who created the C.E.L.L. approach and CELL Stories. In November of 2023, she brought on Soriah Buckner, then a year later PRISM transitioned as Soriah acquired the practice and Claire moved onto the next great journey of her life.

“Claire gave me the greatest gift thrice in the span of a year. She believed and trusted in me enough to bring me onto the team last November. She trusted me with her business and all her clients in February. Then within the last month, she gave me the opportunity to acquire PRISM itself. I’ve strived to provide the PRISM vision for everyone, new and old. I’ve learned so much, played so much, and grown so much thanks to the opportunity and space I was invited into. A space that I now get to fully call my own. I will continue to serve the community with the same care, playfulness, and curiosity that PRISM has provided these past years. Now it’s with a different flavor. Thank you for trusting me to hold your cellular stories! I look forward to learning from each of you. “ -Soriah Buckner, LMT, TTT
